Green Man Gatekeeper is the gallery, shop, and workshop of Clive and Kim Barrett.
Working in a converted farm building on the picturesque Lydney Park Estate, situated between the Forest of Dean and the River Severn, we draw our inspiration from history, mythology and Folk Lore.
It's an odd little shop, the sort you don't often find these days, but full of interesting things - green man masks, shoes for elves, bags for wayfarers, pouches for gold, or dice, trinkets, tokens, and talismans, etc. We design and print our own range of prints and greetings cards, with historical, traditional, and pagan themes. The shop also has a selection of carefully chosen items to accompany our own designs. This includes books about things we like, or find interesting.
Visit the shop and see things being made!
We are on the A48, the old Roman road that runs from Gloucester to Chepstow, and South Wales.
